2015/6/11 Elder Play

Today's show is about elder play. Our guest is Dr. Petert Gray, professor emeritus of Boston College, and author of the book Free to Learn. He is one of the world's authorities on play. While he focuses mostly upon the effects of the diminisment of play in the lives of children, he is an aging individual who has gives some thought to the role of play in old peoples lives. After he guests his thoughts on play provide a springboard to a larger discussion about the role of play in an older person's life (and it isn't just to keep the brain in good function).
